This trailer actually made me laugh. Trailers rarely make me laugh. Ken Jeong's expression during the Pearl Harbor bit kills me.

Reminds me of "Used Cars" from the 80s(?). Which was also during or right after the Carter administration and was a sort of timid rehabilitation of free enterprise. If that's what the movie is, then the timing is right.
Of course, these days it might look like that in the trailer but end up as Karl, instead of Groucho Marxism.
