Andy and Larry Wachowski (The Matrix) bring the famous cartoon to the cinema beginning May 9th. From the looks of the trailer, the film is like having an acid trip inside of a pinball machine. Make sure you take your seizure medication before going to see it.
Screenwriters: Andy and Larry Wachowski (V for Vendetta)
Director: Andy and Larry Wachowski (Bound)
Actors: Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild), Christina Ricci (Sleepy Hollow), Matthew Fox (Smokin' Aces), Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise), and John Goodman (Monsters, Inc.)

Promiscuous cartoon viewer that I was, even as a kid I never could figure out what the appeal of this one was supposed to be. A movie version . . . huh?
ReplyDeleteOh, and Christina Ricci. That's two strikes against it.
Oh, and the Whatnhowski brothers?
This one never had a chance, except perhaps with the glue-sniffing crowd.
Cheers,
PGE
I couldn't say it better
ReplyDeleteThis movie looks like a lot of fun. I never understood the appeal of the cartoon when I was a child, but the trailers I've seen have me hooked.
ReplyDeleteThe trailers give you PLENTY of warning that there won't be a shred of good dialogue to be had, and that it's all about taking a ride and having brainless fun along the way in the greenscreen universe it creates. I wish 300 had been so honest in its adverts.
